Uploading the National Forecast

This feature allows Process Owners and Business Unit Directors to streamline the process of setting National-Level targets by enabling them to upload the national forecast as a file, eliminating the need to manually access each target-setting plan and input values individually.

The first step is to access the National Forecast management panel. This can be done by clicking on the three-dot button above the plans table and selecting National Forecast from the dropdown.

Accesing the National Forecast panel

After opening the National Forecast panel, start by downloading the National Forecast template. Enter the appropriate cycle in the input field and select the specific plans you want to include. Once the options are selected, download the template, which will contain only the filtered plans for the selected time period.

Leaving the plans field empty will export all plans in the selected cycle!

Download the National Forecast template

After clicking the 'Download' button, a file will automatically be downloaded to your device. Open the downloaded file and enter your data only in the cells corresponding to the months.

You may delete rows that you do not wish to update but do not alter any other parts of the file to ensure proper processing.

For each plan, the following columns are included:

  • Plan name;

  • SKU name;

  • Data Source;

  • Channel;

  • One column for each month included in the forecasting period.

In the cells corresponding to the months, you will see either 0 if the plan is new or you will see the latest inputted values.
